Frank is widely regarded as a pioneer in travel technology. In 2002 he co-founded Avvio, which quickly became a market leader in his native Ireland and in the UK, working with independent hotels and groups to provide guests with a level of service never seen before online.

In 2017, Avvio launched the world’s first AI powered booking engine, allora.ai Today allora.ai provides technology to over 500 hotels around the world and powers over £400m in transactions every year.

Frank was named as one of Europe’s Top Extraordinary Minds in the Hospitality Sector by HSMAI Europe. He is regularly invited to speak at prestigious events around the world, including World Travel Market, ITB Asia and EyeforTravel. Phocuswright, HEDNA conferences, Fáilte Ireland events, British Hospitality Association’s Summit, Master Innholders’ General Managers Conference, Travel Technology Europe, the Independent Hotel Show as well as numerous debates and roundtables.
